Core Duties

  • Project Delivery: Oversee commercial fit-outs, structural refurbishments, and capital investment schemes from initial brief through to handover.
  • Technical Advisory: Deliver specialist surveying services, including pre-acquisition surveys, dilapidations negotiations, building pathology, and party wall matters.
  • Account Management: Act as the primary contact for high-value clients, ensuring exceptional service delivery and long-term retention.
  • Commercial Growth: Spot new market angles to pitch firm-wide capabilities and win fresh project instructions.
  • Staff Development: Guide junior team members through the APC process and provide daily technical mentorship.
  • Divisional Strategy: Collaborate with leadership to scale the Building Consultancy team and broaden its market reach.

 

Candidate Profile

  • Credentials: Fully qualified Chartered Surveyor (MRICS required).
  • Background: Solid experience at Senior or Associate level, ideally within a commercial real estate agency framework.
  • Expertise: Dual-strength capability spanning both contract administration and professional core surveying work.
  • Interpersonal Strengths: Confident communicator capable of managing complex stakeholder dynamics and high-level negotiations.
  • Business Mindset: Culturally attuned to identifying revenue streams and converting leads into clients.
