    Valuation of GastroPub, The Beehive, Earsdon

    We were instructed by Barclays to provide a valuation of the above. Historically trade under lease, but tenant had option to purchase. One difficulty was that the business was coming out of 2 years of Covid-19 which affected trading. 

    We looked to value with regard to a mature & stable business, by looking at trade pre and post covid. This demonstrated what the business could achieve and factored in the time to rebuild. 

    Our valuation was provided to the bank and this enabled the borrower to purchase the freehold interest. 

    Valuation of a portfolio of 6 Operational Schools and 2 Investment Assets totalling £63.67m

    We were instructed by Girls Day School Trust to value a portfolio of 6 Operational Schools and 2 Investment Assets, located throughout the UK for company accounts and impairment purposes. 

    We approched this valuation on a multi-office basis, looking at value of the school assets in their existing and alternative uses. Both a DCF and comparable approach was adopted.

    We were able to provide the client with a mult-site report but with a single point of contact and liasion.
