To mark the beginning of spring, over 101 participants from Sanderson Weatherall took part in SW Step into Spring, a month-long steps challenge during which participants are encouraged to walk as many steps as possible and compete in teams to complete virtual walking challenges.
In total, we took 36,038,134 steps and walked 15,851.4 miles. An amazing achievement for every single person who participated.
This year we had a variety of winning categories which included best photo, best walking companion, best walk, first team to the finishing line, most steps taken as a team and most steps taken invidiually.

The Bristol office walked/ran for 4 hours and covered all 45 bridges within Bristol. They clocked up an impressive 244,000 steps and covered 45km in such a short space of time.
The first team to the finish line were also from the Bristol office and finished 10 days before the challenge finished. The team included; Ben Bushill, Nathan Lane, Charlotte Robinson, Matt Smith & Rory Edwards.
The team with the most steps were Newcastle C with an impressive 470,764 steps. The team was made up of Tasmiya Naseer, Zhana Kokeva, Stephen Richardson, Matty Stewart & Joey Convery.
And finally the overall steps winner was Thomas Simms with an amazing 800,862 steps covered within just 28 days.
