During the week from 18th February to 26th February 2023, 32 staff members from across the network of SW offices took part in the WWF Big Winter Wander.
The aim of the challenge was for each participant to walk 10 miles over the course of the week. Staff exceeded expectations and on average, each participant walked 12 miles and raised £1,073 for WWF.
SW is committed to supporting Sustainable development across the range of its surveying practices alongside an acute awareness that decarbonisation of the Real Estate sector, community engagement and stakeholder involvement are key components in combatting the Climate Crisis.
The challenge has also been a time for colleagues to come together and socialise outside the office environment. SW always supports its staff members partaking in CPD by allowing, encouraging and supporting staff and their ideas for events and fundraising.
