The Leeds market saw a total of 126,277 sq ft of office space transacted in the second quarter of the year.

In the city centre, there were 21 completed transactions totalling 84,635 sq ft and an average deal size of 4,030 sq ft. Take up was down by nearly 15% on the equivalent quarter last year, but at the half year point YTD activity totalled 325,611 sq ft which is broadly in line with the same period in 2024 (349,332 sq ft) and consistent with the long-term average.

The largest deal of the quarter saw JN Bentley take a single floor of 17,124 sq ft at NFU Mutual’s No1 Whitehall Riverside in the West End district of the city centre. Other notable deals included professional services business’s HGF and PKF take 10,047 sq ft at One City Square and 6,548 sq ft at 12 King Street respectively.
