Earlier this year our property management accounts department appointed their first ever apprentice, Daniel Tay.

Daniel’s role is assisting the team over various disciplines to ensure that his apprenticeship objectives are met. This includes assisting with Accounts Payable, raising insurance and ad-hoc demands, recharging utilities, vat reports, and administrative/database work. This will further develop into other areas as his course progresses.

Daniel says “When I first arrived at SW, I was warmly welcomed into the property management team. In my time here so far, I have always been provided ample support both in settling into my first role as well as studying for my apprenticeship. I have greatly enjoyed my time working at SW due in no small part to the pleasant working environment and the reassurance that comes from having reliable hardworking colleagues. On the rare occasions that I have encountered an issue with work (sickness, technical issues, etc.), I was always treated fairly and helped patiently by my team as well as colleagues in other departments such as HR, IT and finance. Aside from regular work, SW have continually impressed me their commitment to exceeding the norm in their ventures within corporate social responsibility in areas such as sustainability, charitable causes and community activities. I am both grateful and proud to be able to work towards my level 3 AAT diploma at SW and hope to continue working here after I achieve it.”
