Sanderson Weatherall is delighted to announce Peter Loveday, Partner in its London Asset Advisory and Recovery department has been appointed the new Chair of Nara, the Association of Property and Fixed Charge Receivers.
As a long-standing and active member of Nara, Sanderson Weatherall welcomes this appointment and looks forward to the leadership Peter will bring to the association. Peter takes over from Doug Robertson at Irwin Mitchell who held the position for two years.
Peter Loveday brings 14 years of invaluable experience in property and fixed charge receivership to the role. A Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) and a long-serving member of Nara, he has a deep understanding of the market and the challenges facing receivers makes him exceptionally well-suited to lead the association.
Speaking on his appointment, Peter Loveday commented: “I am honoured to be appointed as chair of Nara. Doug Robertson has done a fantastic job, and I look forward to building on his success. In the current economic climate, the role of the property receiver is more critical than ever. My focus will be on ensuring our members are fully equipped to handle the challenges ahead, championing their expertise, and reinforcing the vital role Nara plays in the UK property market.”
