Our Newcastle agency team has been appointed to sell the former Arriva depot in Jesmond – a large site that is expected to generate a lot of interest.
Arriva, the current owners of the site, is vacating the premises as part of the transport company’s relocation plan, leaving a large plot of land ripe for redevelopment.
The two acre freehold site is located on Portland Terrace, ideally positioned opposite the Holiday Inn hotel and very close to Jesmond’s transport links, making it an attractive option for either residential development or student residences.

It is very unusual for a plot of this size to become available in this area, so I expect that a lot of developers will be looking to secure the site.”
We have been appointed as agent for this site following our successful sale of the former Newcastle High School for Girls portfolio on behalf of The Girls’ Day School Trust, which owned the properties on Eskdale Terrace and Eslington Terrace.
