Designer clothing outlet, END. has opened an all-new 13,700 square foot Newcastle upon Tyne flagship store at the former Byron restaurant site on Grey Street, housed within one of the city’s iconic Grade II listed buildings.

As one of the world’s leading menswear and womenswear digital fashion retailers, the relocation of END.’s hometown bricks and mortar store demonstrates the undoubtable value in creating unforgettable customer experiences and highlights their continued commitment to strengthening their relationships with customers through a strong physical retail presence.

Split across three floors, the basement houses END.’s sneaker, streetwear and skate offering, alongside a launch space that can be given over to brands for exclusive product releases, while the ground floor presents the retailer’s comprehensive selection of contemporary and classic fashion brands. Rounding off END.’s holistic approach to modern fashion, the first floor houses a wide array of luxury fashion, alongside an extensive beauty and lifestyle selection to complete the Grey Street store’s diverse range.

Michael Downey, partner at Sanderson Weatherall commented, “We are delighted to have completed this deal on behalf of the landlord, Westmoreland Properties Limited. END fought off significant competition to secure the unit, which occupies one of the most prominent spots in the city, overlooking Grey’s Monument.”

James Moss of Barker Proudlove added, “Having highlighted this particular unit a number of years ago as the best possible Newcastle flagship for End, it is extremely satisfying to have acquired it on their behalf.”

Michael Downey of Sanderson Weatherall acted on behalf of the landlord whilst James Moss at Barker Proudlove acted for END.
