Following receipt of instructions from an investment management company specialising in energy transition infrastructure projects and the review of the business rates valuation for a new Battery Electricity Storage Site, we were successful in securing them a £175,000 saving. This followed a review of technical and commissioning details, a joint inspection with the Valuation Officer and an agreement to reduce the rateable value and also amend the effective date the site was first assessed from.
