Acting on behalf of a Plc client we were instructed to review the rateable value of their company headquarter offices located on an out-of-town office park.

We inspected the property and provided advice that the office was over assessed. We reviewed comparable properties on the office park and similar sites.

The evidence available meant that we were able to build a case to be lodged to the VOA.

The company had two offices and Checks to the VOA were lodged against both. The cases were agreed at Check stage leading to savings for our client in excess of £85,000 in the 2023 rating list.
