Instructed by a College of Further Education in respect of two main campuses, further to site surveys and valuation work, cases were submitted to the VOA seeking reductions in rateable value.

Following our involvement in industry representations over the valuation basis for this class of property, we were able to secure savings of over £120k (after the application of 80% Charity Relief) for one of the sites with the VOA agreeing to amend numerous aspects of the valuation, from classification of different areas to adjustments to values.
