Task

Ridge & Partners had outgrown their current office space and projected further growth in their Leeds office.

The client had a forthcoming lease event and wished to move to larger and more sustainable premises that were “best in class” and gas free.

Solution

Sanderson Weatherall met with the client and agreed a brief for a market search.

We subsequently issued an availability report including some “off market” solutions. We then helped the client narrow down the options in the availability report to a long list of properties to view.

After a series of viewing days, including new options that became available during the duration of the search we identified and concentrated on a final short-list of three buildings.

Following further investigations and negotiations we agreed Heads of Terms to take the top floor in 1 South Brook Street.

We added value through identifying a very good option that was “off market” and in a prime location. This ultimately allowed us to negotiate favourable terms at our clients preferred building.
