Instructed by a large American Plc to review and Challenge their business rates nationwide. The sites were large freehold sites, which were once farms, but now have become Research centres with large sprawling buildings across a large site area.

Following inspections and initial analysis, SW challenged sites in Cambridge and Suffolk and argued that the valuations produced by the Valuation Office were over-assessed due to the rural location and the multi-age & use across the sites.

These negotiations produced savings of over £1M per site on both the 2017 and 2023 Rating Lists.
