Instructed on behalf of a national building materials provider to review the rates liability of their portfolio (325+ properties). SW are also instructed on the rates management and rates audit work for the client.

Following detailed reviews, site inspections and a review of the VOA scheme Checks/Challenges were submitted across the portfolio seeking reductions in rateable value for a multitude of reasons.

At the time of writing our work, which includes Check/Challenge and rates management work has generated savings in excess of £1 million to the client in the 2023 Rating List.
