Oliver Childs, a high-profile figure in the property auction market, has joined Sanderson Weatherall as National Head of Property Auctions.

Childs previously served as Managing Director at BidX1 UK and as National Head of Auctions at Lambert Smith Hampton and brings 30 years of experience to his role at Sanderson Weatherall.

Childs is a pioneer in online property auctions, having executed one of the first online sales of commercial real estate in the UK in 2016 for Severn Trent Water.

Speaking about his appointment, Oliver said,
