We have recently strengthened our machinery and business assets offering with the acquisition of UCPE, a firm specialising in the sale of used cereal processing equipment.
The acquisition sees David Whyte, founder of UCPE, join Sanderson Weatherall as a consultant. David has spent his entire working life in the milling related sector having commenced his career at E H Bentall in the 1960’s and then co-founded GAME (Grain and Milling Equipment) in 1986 before setting up UCPE in 1998.
Head of our machinery and business assets team, Neil Simpson commented, “This is a strategic partnership for Sanderson Weatherall and it makes sense for us to go down this road, bearing in mind our combined knowledge and experience in the process plant and milling related sector. SW will continue with online machinery auctions and all types of professional valuation work within the machinery and business assets space. We are currently working towards our second collective online auction of the year which is scheduled to close on 27 September 2022.
UCPE sells used equipment for processing and handling malt, grains, seeds, animal feed and supplements, flour milling, pet food, greencrops, straw, animal bedding, waste, wood chip/shavings, biomass, fertilisers etc. We will be in contact with all Clients and Customers over the coming weeks.
Energy Crisis – we will be offering machines capable of processing biomass pellets for fuel together with furnaces that burn, coal, wood chip, wood pellets or sawdust together and gasifiers that produce heat and gas from waste, wet wood chip and bark.
