Each year, Sanderson Weatherall gear up for a challenging, multi-day ride across hundreds of miles to raise money for causes that deeply matter to the team.

This September the team of 12 cycled to raise funds for Leeds Hospitals Charity in loving memory of our HQ Office Manager, Helen Gough, who sadly passed away in June after a short battle with cancer. Helen was a treasured part of the team, and Sanderson Weatherall rode to honour her memory and support the incredible team that cared for her at St James’s University Hospital in Leeds.

After almost 300km and 3000m of elevation over three days, Sanderson Weatherall is pleased to announce that the 2026 annual bike ride raised £3,250.00 for Leeds Hospitals Charity.

Leeds Hospitals charity is the charity of Leeds Teaching Hospitals. The charity supports NHS staff to deliver outstanding care for over a million patients and their families every year. Donations fund life-saving equipment, treatments, research and home comforts.

The Sanderson Weatherall bike ride has been an annual event for over 26 years and to date has seen colleagues raise over £58,000 for various charities.
