During March staff from around our offices attempted to virtually step their way from our southermost office in Tiverton all the way to Newcastle in the north, via our other seven office locations! Delighted to announce that between the 17 teams we managed to walk an incredible 18,441,649 steps or 12,640 km!
Alongside the benefits to physical health we challenged staff to use it as an opportunity to step away from their desks, whether at home or in the office, and take a break whilst raising awareness of the positive impact exercise can have on your mental health.
It was a team of four from our Bristol office that took home the crown, walking an impressive 1,311 km between them, averaging over 10km a day per person – great effort!
At a time when mental health issues are on the rise It’s been proven the positive impact that physical activity can have and we wanted to raise as much awareness of this as possible.
