A range of fabrication and metalworking machinery & equipment formerly used in the manufacture of bridge sections is due to go to auction next month following the closure of world leading bridge engineers, Cleveland Bridge.

Founded in 1877, Cleveland Bridge UK was an engineering and construction company, specialising in large scale steel structural engineering. As well as having worked on various bridges, such as Hong Kong’s Tsing Ma Bridge, Sydney Harbour Bridge and the Infinity Bridge in Stockton Upon Tees, the firm also notably helped with the construction of the new Wembley Stadium Arch.

Sanderson Weatherall’s specialist machinery and business assets team will manage the sale and host the online auction on the instructions of the joint administrators, FRP Advisory.
