This week is National Apprenticeships Week. To celebrate, we asked our Property Management Accounts Apprentice, Daniel Tay, to tell us what being an apprentice is like.

“When I first arrived at Sanderson Weatherall, I was welcomed into the property management team. In my time here so far, I have been provided consistent support both in settling into my role as well as studying for my apprenticeship in accounting.”

“I enjoy my time working at SW, there’s a pleasant working environment in the office and the reassurance that comes from my colleagues helps me build confidence in my role.”

“Aside from the day job at SW, I’m excited to get involved in SW’s corporate social responsibility ventures, especially the fundraising events and community activities.”

“I am both grateful and proud to be able to work towards my level 3 AAT diploma at SW and hope to continue working here after I achieve it.”

Throughout the team at Sanderson Weatherall, we have another four apprentices currently working across a variety of different disciplines and offices.  As well as employing apprentices we also offer work experience and year-long work placements to students who are on the path to becoming Graduate Surveyors.
