In the world of corporate branding, most logos act as symbols of ownership or identity. The B-Corp logo, however, signals much more, a commitment. The iconic ‘B’ serves as a symbol of transparency and a promise to continuous improvement.
As we celebrate B-Corp Month 2026, this year’s theme ‘A Simple Symbol, a Powerful Signal’ resonates with us at Sanderson Weatherall. For us being a B-Corp is about bringing that signal to fruition through our culture and the communities surrounding our regional offices.
At Sanderson Weatherall we believe that B-Corp status shouldn’t be refined to boardroom reports or ESG spreadsheets. To truly value the certification, our employees need to see it and contribute to it.
To turn this signal into an action we launched the SW B-Corp employee challenge. This challenge was designed to break down the certification into engaging tasks including:
Wellbeing Walks: Prioritising mental health and physical activity across our teams.
B Corp Scavenger Hunts: Challenging our employees to find and support fellow B Corp brands on their local areas.
Impact Suggestions: Gathering ideas to improve our social and environmental footprint.
Visible Momentum: Encouraging our teams to capture the ‘B’ in the wild, making the movement visible in their daily lives.
Kyle Frith, Head of sustainability commented:
‘’We wanted to get everyone involved this year. With 12 offices spread across the UK, we wanted a challenge that embodies the community ethos fostered by the B Corp movement.’’
