Our Newcastle valuation team has provided expert valuation advice for the North East’s largest mental health charity.
Mental Health Concern, part of Concern: the Mental Health and Wellbeing Group, instructed us to undertake a full valuation of its portfolio of specialist nursing services and assisted living properties throughout Newcastle and Gateshead.
We were tasked with the inspection and provision of valuation reports on a portfolio of unusual properties for accounts and secured lending purposes. The instruction was a result of our previous work with the charity in 2011.
Gordon Burns, the group’s director of finance and corporate services, commented: “We worked with Sanderson Weatherall in 2011 when it provided us with its valuation expertise. It was because of this that we were confident their valuation advice would be extremely beneficial to our current property requirements.”
This year, Mental Health Concern celebrates its 30th anniversary of providing a wide range of specialist mental health services, which are predominantly commissioned by the NHS and local authorities. Its mission is to improve the mental health and wellbeing of the people it serves.
David Downing, partner in our Newcastle office, said: “We are very pleased to be working with this fantastic charity once again and look forward to continuing our involvement in the variety of unusual properties that the company owns.”
