Working alongside Carter Towler our agency team has successfully completed the purchase and letting of International House, Guiseley.
Carter Towler purchased the 7,292 sq ft warehouse on Ghyll Royd, South View Business Park on behalf of a long-standing client from White & Co Removals with our agency team acting on behalf of the vendors.
International House was then refurbished before being marketed and let to Screw Fix in a 10 year lease deal negotiated by ours and Carter Towler’s industrial agency team.
Jonathan White, partner in our Leeds agency team commented, “We were delighted to be able to sign up a blue-chip tenant for the new purchaser. A national occupier such as Screwfix is great news for the local area as it will undoubtedly deliver a boost to the economy and provide jobs locally. We’re experiencing strong demand for industrial property in West Yorkshire currently, which is evidenced by the acquisition and letting of International House.”
Commenting on the string of deals Charter Towler director Matthew Faulkes said: “This has been a fantastic project for us to work on as it shows just how effective our divisions are collectively. The whole process from completing the acquisition deal through to the subsequent lease and property management agreement has been absolutely seamless.”
The two-storey unit is close to the A65 and is directly to the rear of the Westfield Retail Park whose occupiers include McDonald’s, Halfords, Costa Coffee, Next and Argos. In addition to warehouse space it has office accommodation, parking for 9 vehicles and a secure yard.
