Success for graduates in our Leeds and Newcastle offices

Marketing / 30 Nov, 16

Congratulations to three of our graduates who have qualified as chartered surveyors.

Jake West, James Pegg and Mark Convery have become full members of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) by passing the Assessment of Professional Competence (APC) training.

Jake West and James Pegg work within our valuation team, both dealing with commercial property valuations in the Yorkshire region. Mark Convery works within our award winning agency team, and deals with commercial sales and lettings in Newcastle.

Congratulating the successful candidates, David Rastrick, partner and head of training at Sanderson Weatherall, said: “We are very proud of our track record in providing graduates from across our office network with first class training. Through having a diverse client base we have built a reputation as a leading firm for aspiring surveyors to join and gain extensive industry experience with.

“We are delighted to see another three of our graduates successfully qualify as chartered surveyors. They have all proved themselves throughout their training to be extremely capable and we look forward to them further developing their careers with us”.

The APC consists of a written submission and a professional interview. These take place after acquiring at least two years’ relevant experience and completing a structured training programme, which provides a broad range of experience across different disciplines and departments.

Here at Sanderson Weatherall, candidates prepare for the assessment by taking part in mock interviews and receiving advice from external consultants on presentation and interview skills.
