Chartered surveyors at Sanderson Weatherall in Teesside have completed a number of deals to help businesses relocate and expand in the area.
One of the most significant deals, for the purchase of 87 Willows Court on the Teesside Industrial Estate, saw five bids in the first week before it was bought by Middlesbrough-based Integraflex.
Sanderson Weatherall completed the deal for the 7,854 sq ft secure compound property on behalf of its client, RS Bruce, of Sheffield.
Teesside-based Matrix Power has also acquired a 6,000 sq ft unit on Mickleton Road, on the Riverside Industrial Estate, in Middlesbrough.
Jonathan Simpson, Partner at Sanderson Weatherall, said: “The Teesside market is vibrant at the moment and there are some significant businesses taking space which will allow them to grow.
“The interest in each of the good quality sites which has become available in recent months has been high, with multiple interested parties showing interest and bidding.
“This is great news for Teesside and we are confident that the market will continue to thrive as the economy grows.
“These deals show a growth in the Tees Valley which reflects recent reported increases in GDP, and we are confident that we will continue to see strength in the market.”
