To accommodate our increasing client base in the North East and further afield, we have recently strengthened our valuation offering with three key appointments.

In the run up to the Ryder Cup last month a team from our Leeds office hosted a Ryder Cup themed event at Howley Hall Golf Club. Sixteen people took part and fittingly team Europe, captained by Neil Bestwick won the event.

Last month our specialist machinery and business assets team sold the assets from Poundworld Retail Ltd headquarters, raising in excess of £450,000 at online auction.

Our holiday and caravan park specialists sold Smugglers End Caravan Park, a small park located adjacent to Winchelsea Beach, a popular seaside village in East Sussex.

On Tuesday 18th September a team made up of property experts from across our office and key clients attended the ‘Best of the Best Students Awards Dinner’, which was held at Claridge’s, a 5-star hotel at the corner of Brook Street and Davies Street in Mayfair, London.

Further summer deals completed for August & September from our holiday and caravan park team working across the country. Of particular note were the sales of Woodlands Mobile Homes Park in Swansea, Quarry Rock Mobile Home Park, Bath and Kingsway Mobile Home Park, Bristol which were sold in off-market transactions.

Following a successful period of marketing our specialist holiday and caravan park team also sold Smugglers End Caravan Park, Sussex a holiday park with consent for 10 static caravans.

Teesside’s property market continues to display its resilience, with confidence high and lenders investing more throughout the region, as well as strong new developments and schemes entering the market across a broad range of sectors. At the start of September our North-East valuation team invited clients and professional contacts on a bus tour, looking at key commercial property sites across the region.
