North West Agency Update

In recent months our team in the North West have completed a series of property disposals worth over £1.6million on behalf of Cheshire East Council. The sales have included four residential development sites, the former Ethel Elks and Hilary Day Care Centres, a former Women’s Refuge Centre and the Grade II Listed Park Green Registar’s Office.

We have also sold Oldham office building, Ashwood House for £400,000 to the Immigration Advice Service. This was the most recent acquisition for the Immigration Advice Service, which have 21 other offices across the UK.

Acting on behalf of Logicor we also let a 2,335 sq ft industrial unit in Mersey Road Industrial Estate, Failsworth. The tenant, 5th Generation Limited have signed a 5 year lease with a break after 18 months with a yearly rent of £13,000 per annum.

Acting on behalf of the joint administrators of SCC Limited, we sold a ten-acre development site to BXB bespoke land solutions. The land, which is the former Bridge Mills site in Tintwistle, High Peak sold for an undisclosed price and BXB are set to submit a planning application for 165 residential houses to be built.
