Our specialist holiday and caravan park team has sold a 43-acre holiday park in Bamburgh, Northumberland, to Maguires Country Parks.

Maguires Country Parks operate award winning sites across Northumbria, North Yorkshire and County Durham. The family run business has purchased the Northumberland site, which was formerly operating as The Kaims Bamburgh, and was marketed asking offers in excess of £5.5m.

Billy Maguire, owner of Maguires Country Parks said, “The Kaims, Bamburgh site is a fantastic opportunity for our luxury holiday park brand. The site’s location and surroundings are perfectly suited to help us deliver our aim of providing beautiful, peaceful and relaxing Country Parks in first class destinations.

“We have already allocated in excess of £1.25M of capital expenditure in order to develop new pitches, improve service infrastructure and to enhance the park for new and all existing caravan owners.”

Adam Burkinshaw, holiday and caravan park specialist said, “We are delighted to have sold this fantastic site to Maguires Country Parks. It will undoubtedly be a fantastic addition to their existing portfolio of Country Parks.”

The Kaims is located only two miles from Bamburgh and is presently developed with 240 pitches, with a new development to add 48 new luxury caravan pitches commencing shortly.

Facilities include a modern bar and restaurant, and the park is located adjacent to the Bradford Kaims, a site of special scientific interest.
