Despite the uncertain political and economic climate towards the end of last year, the Leeds office market remained resilient with another strong quarter, putting take-up figures 24% higher than the 10-year average.
Office take-up in Leeds during Q4 totalled 248,881 sq ft.
In Leeds city centre, 164,398 sq ft of office space was taken across 32 deals. The largest transaction of the quarter saw Sky acquire 31,175 sq ft on the second and third floors of 26 Whitehall Road. Other notable deals include Channel 4’s highly anticipated letting of the 25,926 sq ft Majestic building, which is currently undergoing a major refurbishment, and financial solutions business Progeny’s letting of 13,982 sq ft at 33 Wellington Street.
