Mark Sheridan, Head of our Bristol office, talks about our recent office move and how the new space has transformed our business.
“Despite only making the relatively short journey (down two flights of stairs!) to the first floor of 30 Queen Square, in just six months our newly refurbished new office has changed the team dynamic, the way we work and facilitated our continued growth.
“We settled down in Queen Square just over 5 years ago now and as a business we haven’t looked back since. It’s a fantastic location for us, close to Bristol’s thriving business community and within walking distance of all the city’s excellent retail and leisure offerings!
“We spend more time in our workplace than anywhere else. There’s no doubt we are all influenced by our surroundings and feeling proud of where you work ultimately impacts the work you produce. I think the new, higher specification office re-energised our surveyors, which strengthened us as a team and as a leading local and national firm.
“The office move was largely driven by a desire to occupy better specified accommodation to allow us to continue or growth and enable smarter and more agile ways of working. Drawing upon our internal building consultancy and architecture teams we were able to create an office space that looks great and performs all the functions that we need it to.
“The Bristol property market is a really exciting one to work in at the moment with a number of new developments providing residential, student, leisure and Grade A offices across the city, and in the wider South West Region. From the office our team offer our full range of our property services with particular specialisms including valuation, property management, investment agency, planning and building consultancy services. The team are also well placed to offer any of the firm’s broader property services, including those of our caravan and holiday park leisure specialists, also based in the South West.”
