This year we have a team of 16 riders undertaking the demanding 210-mile cycle from London to Paris, in just three and a half days. The annual cycle ride has become something of an institution at Sanderson Weatherall, having taken place for numerous years, raising significant sums of money for worthy causes.
On the first day, the team will set off from our London office in Fitzrovia, heading out of the capital on a 60-mile ride towards Brighton. The following morning they will complete the short ride eastwards to Newhaven where they catch the ferry to Dieppe, France.
On the other side of the channel, the riders will follow the Avenue Verte, a cycle route connecting London with Paris. The distance from Dieppe to Paris is roughly 130 miles and the team will break up the ride with a night in Forges-Les-Eaux after 50 miles and a second night on the outskirts of Paris.
This year, the money we raise from the cycle will be in support of the British Heart Foundation. The British Heart Foundation is the UK’s number one heart charity, funding research, education and awareness campaigns aimed at preventing heart disease across the UK.
Any donations would be greatly appreciated for this worthy cause. If you wish to donate, please follow this link https://www.justgiving.com/fundraising/2016SW.
