Former bingo hall provides fantastic development opportunity in Hartlepool

Marketing / 13 Apr, 19

Something a little bit different for our North-East agency team this month as they’ve been appointed joint agents on a large former bingo hall and cinema complex, located close to Hartlepool Town Centre.

The property began life as a Regal Cinema in 1935, following its design by renowned cinema architect William Illingworth. In 1955 its name was changed to Essoldo cinema before becoming a bingo hall in 1968.

The ground floor comprises an auditorium with tiered seating, a stage, kitchen, bar & retail unit with a further galleried area, bar and offices on the first floor with storage space and roof access on the second floor.

Chris Dent, agent in our North East team commented, “We’re used to working on a variety of different property types but Carlton Hall presented us with a really unique opportunity to market something a little different. The property has significant redevelopment potential and is prime for a number of potential uses moving forward and we’re pleased to bring it to market alongside local agents Greig Cavey Commerical.”

Located on York Road on the outskirts of Hartlepool town centre the property is located near to Hartlepool Police Station, Civic Centre, Kwikfit.

For further information please contact Chris on 0191 261 2681 or contact Greig Cavey on 01429 275791.
