Our specialist caravan and holiday parks team has been appointed to sell Roadford Lake Holiday Village, a holiday park development site located adjacent to the South West water owned Roadford Lake.
The 3.23 acre site occupies an enviable location on the south of Roadford Lake, approximately a mile north of the A30 and close to the village of Broadwoodwidger.
Andrew Bagnell, selling agent on the site commented, “It is relatively uncommon for such an undeveloped site to come to market, especially in such a desirable location. The area is incredibly popular with tourists with a number of footpaths, bridleways and cycle trails around the lake, which at over 730 acres is one of the largest inland waters in the South West.
Planning permission was granted earlier this year by Torridge District Council for the site and read as follows “Outline permission with all matters reserviced except access for the construction of a holiday village comprising up to 34 caravans, reception building, car parking, landscaping and other associated infrastructure.”
The caravans may be occupied for 12 months of the year and there are no conditions attached to permission that restricts the sale of the caravans to private owners. If requested, a pack of additional information is available.
