Following the appointment of Administrators to Bradford Bulls (Northern) Limited (BBNL) on 14 November, we are inviting serious expressions of interest for the club by the close of business on Friday 25 November 2016.
Gary Pettit and Gavin Bates of PBC Business Recovery were appointed as Joint Administrators to BBNL and are presently working closely with the Rugby Football League (RFL) with a view to achieving a swift and satisfactory outcome for all connected including the club staff, supporters, sponsors and creditors.
The club occupies the Provident Stadium under the terms of a lease from the RFL. The stadium itself has an official capacity of 27,500 including seated and terraced spectator areas together with a purpose built, 12 year old stand providing two storey corporate hospitality / function accommodation suitable for a variety of sporting / non-sporting related events.
Neil Bestwick, partner in our Leeds asset advisory team said:
“There has been a good level of initial interest shown in the club upon news of the appointment of Administrators and we are providing additional information to assist with due diligence. The Administrators are inviting written expressions of interest by 12 noon Friday 25 November with a particular emphasis on understanding relevant credentials for an opportunity of this nature which will also be of interest to the RFL and crucial to its support going forward.”
