Our Leeds office has further strengthened its property management team with the appointment of two new surveyors.
Joining the team are Ceri Hill as senior surveyor and Morigan Wilson as graduate surveyor who will add to the team of 14 currently working in the property management department.
Ceri joins us from the Bauer Group, where she spent two years as portfolio manager. In her new role, her responsibilities include managing our service charged buildings – single and multiple occupancy – and working closely with tenants, agent’s facilities managers and solicitors.
Commenting on her appointment, Ceri said: “I find the property management industry very rewarding, so this role suits me well. I was drawn to Sanderson Weatherall thanks to its big-firm presence, with a small-firm ethos that offers clients a personal and flexible service.”
Morigan Wilson will join the property management team as graduate surveyor. After graduating from Northumbria University with a BSc Hons Degree in Estate Management, Morigan previously worked at Babcock International for one year in the property consultancy department.
In her new role, Morigan is responsible for independently managing a small portfolio of properties as well as assisting the team with all aspects of the department such as dealing with tenant queries, producing client reports and raising service charge demands.
Morigan said: “I chose to apply for Sanderson Weatherall as it has a great reputation within the surveying world and is a company that I had heard a lot of great things about.
“Sanderson Weatherall is also known for having a high success rate for completing the Assessment of Professional Competence (APC) qualification, which I am one year into and working towards achieving over the next 12 months.”
Here at Sanderson Weatherall we offer a multi-disciplined property/facilities management department with clients ranging from both public and private sectors and includes corporate, owner occupier, investment and facilities management clients.
Commenting on the new appointments, Matthew Lawrence, partner in our property management department, said: “We are always searching for talented individuals to join the company and both Ceri and Morigan fit the bill perfectly. Their appointments demonstrate a concerted focus on property management in Leeds and will support us in strengthening our presence in the market and breaking into new business areas”.
