Occupiers set to benefit from good supply of city centre offices to 2021 and beyond
Birmingham is currently undergoing a resurgence not witnessed since the 1960’s and 70’s. The city will soon have both the quantity and quality of available office space to attract even the most discerning national and international occupiers.
Birmingham city centre currently has a total office stock in the region of 17.5million sq ft. Of this stock, there is over 2,800,000 sq ft new or recently refurbished Grade A office space suitable for a 20,000+ sq ft occupier to lease now or in the development pipeline to be completed before 2021.
We have begun 2017 with the promise of a further 370,039 sq ft of Grade A office accommodation due to be completed this year, most within the first six months. Combining this with the current office stock will give companies looking to move to the city an exceptional 750,000 sq ft of Grade A space to choose from.
